SKUM NFF concentrates are produced in equipment free from the use of PFAS chemistry. These non-fluorinated firefighting foams offer efficient flame knockdown, extended vapor suppression, and excellent burnback resistance. Class B NFF concentrates are well-suited for firefighting applications in the chemical, petrochemical, transportation, municipal and industrial response sectors.

High-Expansion Foam Concentrates
SKUM High-Expansion (Hi-Ex) concentrates produce flexible firefighting foams used in fighting both indoor and outdoor Class A, Class B, and LNG fires. Expansion ratios from 50:1 up to 1000:1 make these foams suitable for fire suppression in a variety of applications including aircraft hangars, flammable liquid storage areas, and LNG facilities.
Our Hi-Ex concentrates can quickly form substantial volumes of foam for large-capacity applications in fire and vapour suppression. When used in conjunction with SKUM high-expansion generators, HOTFOAM Hi-Ex concentrate is capable of totally flooding over-sized rooms and enclosures for effective suppression of horizontal and vertical (three-dimensional) fires with minimal water usage. Hi-Ex foam is often used to suppress fires in large buildings containing high value property such as aircraft hangars and distribution warehouses.

Class A Foam Concentrates
SKUM Class A foam concentrates are a mixture of foaming and wetting agents used in a variety of firefighting applications. When proportioned with water, Class A concentrates reduce the surface tension of the solution, allowing greater penetration of the foam into most Class A fuels. SKUM Class A foams cling to surfaces such as charred wood with minimal run off, enhancing fire suppression and reducing water usage. These foam solutions are effective in fighting Class A fires such as paper, tires, wooden structures and wildland blazes.

Training Foam
SKUM Meteor Training Foam has been carefully formulated to allow firefighters the ability to conduct training with their own foam proportioning and generating equipment, while minimizing the effects of such training on the environment. It has foam expansion and drainage characteristics very similar to conventional 3% or 6% firefighting foam concentrates. This is in contrast to other training foams on the market that simulate the expansion but have drain times far quicker than real firefighting foam. Using SKUM Meteor Training Foam allows the user to determine both how much foam will be generated and how long the foam blanket will likely remain. The product has been formulated with surfactants and other chemicals commonly found in household products such as shampoo and dish washing detergents. It is safe to handle, is readily biodegradable and has low orders of aquatic toxicity. SKUM Meteor Training Foam contains no fluorochemicals or fluorosurfactants.
